Park Royal Food Festival to showcase the taste and flavours of Park Royal

The first ever Park Royal Food Festival is taking place this Saturday (1 July 2023) which sees a celebration of food that is made in the area for people to sample and discover more about.

Organised by The Mayor of London’s development corporation for Old Oak and Park Royal, OPDC and held in partnership with Segro, City Harvest London and Loom Projects, the day will celebrate the taste and flavours of Park Royal.

From Middle Eastern delights from Dina Foods to treats from McVities, there is something for all including not just tasting the food but also going on a tour to see it being made.

David Lunts, OPDC’s CEO said: “Park Royal is home to some of London’s most exciting and diverse food businesses and this festival will showcase the very best that the area has to offer. There is so much to discover, and the festival offers the perfect opportunity to see behind the scenes of some of the area’s businesses including McVities and Doughlicious. Whether you’re a frequent visitor to the area or exploring it for the first time – there will be something for everyone to enjoy.”

Sarah Spateri from Park Royal Business Group added: ‘Park Royal has long been known as ‘London’s Kitchen’ as its manufacturers feed one third of Londoners on a daily basis. The Food Festival is a great opportunity for businesses and local residents to come together, connect, share ideas and sample a diverse and wonderful array of different culinary delights. Whether it’s street food, traditional pub fare, Asian cuisine, ready meals, Lebanese specialities or breads and pastries, Park Royal really has something for everyone. The food sector is a vital and vibrant part of Park Royal and we are so delighted to welcome this festival for the first time.”
