New service to help Ealing residents quit smoking

Residents across Ealing are being given help and support with a new programme to quit smoking tobacco this month as part of Stoptober.

Ealing Smokefree Service in collaboration with Totally Wicked will see Ealing Community Partners giving smokers the opportunity to get access to free e-cigarettes to help make the switch from regular smoking.

Katerina Manginas, service manager of Ealing Smokefree Service, said: “At Ealing Smokefree Service, we’re committed to helping residents take control of their health and quit smoking for good. Our new swap-to-stop scheme is an exciting addition to the support we offer, providing a safer alternative to cigarettes.”

Ms Manginas added: “With personalised advice and a range of tools like e-cigarettes and nicotine replacement therapies, there’s never been a better time to make the change. We’re here to guide and support every step of the way.”

To access the service, residents can either be referred to it by their GP or can self-refer themselves by clicking here.
