London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust (LNWH) which runs Ealing Hospital and Central Middlesex Hospital in Park Royal is inviting members of the public to nominate their “hospital hero” for its 2023 Staff Excellence Awards.
This is the 8th year of the awards and the Trust wants to know who has been that person that has been a major help and offered great support to patients and their families.
As well as Ealing Hospital and Central Middlesex Hospital, the Trust also operates Northwick Park Hospital in Harrow and St Mark’s in Harrow.
Pippa Nightingale, chief executive officer of LNWH Trust told EALING.NEWS: “Everyone likes to be told they are doing a good job and this is a chance for staff to take centre stage. I attended my first Staff Excellence Awards last year and it was lovely to see individuals and teams enjoying themselves and getting the recognition they deserve.”
Ms Nightingale also said to be as detailed as possible when nominating someone. “When you fill in the nominee form it is important to include as much information as you can about why you think someone should win. Just saying something like ‘good nurse’ isn’t enough for the judges to make an assessment on so please include some further detail.”

Volunteer of the Year
Fundraiser of the Year
Learner of the Year
Team of the Year
Lifetime Achievement Award
Nominations are open until 28 April 2023 and the winners will be chosen by a panel of judges at announced at a special ceremony at Wembley Stadium in September.
