The health care support workers team from West London NHS Trust’s The Limes facility based in Southall have been recognised and shortlisted for Team of the Year at the Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) Awards.
The Limes offers care for older people in the community with mental health problems and those who have dementia.
The annual awards aim to honour and highlight health care support workers, the teams and NHS Trusts in London and the work they do for patient care.
In a statement, West London NHS Trust said: “Despite not securing a victory, the team relished the day, describing it as an enlightening event. They thoroughly enjoyed engaging with staff from other Trusts, and exchanging ideas, and found it to be a rewarding experience.”
It added: “We echo the sentiments of the programme team: ‘Everyone is a winner and truly deserves to be recognised and celebrated for all the amazing work you do each and every day.'”
