Housing association A2Dominion has completed a housing development project in Southall that sees 24 new three-bedroom homes being offered as 100% affordable. A2Dominion told EALING.NEWS, the rent will be £874.64 a month.
Construction for the homes on Agape Way in Southall began in December 2020 in partnership with Syntec Projects and was designed by Gravity Design Associates.
The name of the development is based on Greek. ‘Agape’ derives from the Greek word meaning ‘love’. Block A is called Aletheia Mansions, with Aletheia translating to ‘truth’ while block B is named Zoe Mansions, with Zoe translating to mean ‘life’.
Steven Waite, director of technical & commercial at A2Dominion said: “We’re delighted to complete this exciting project alongside Syntec Projects Ltd. We have a strong-track record of delivering high-quality homes to the London Borough of Ealing and this modern scheme will help more families onto the housing ladder.”
Declan MacGabhann, commercial director at Syntec Projects said: “We’re proud that these stylish and modern apartments are also energy efficient. In the build, we achieved a reduction of 45.4% CO2 emissions through low air-tightness and a Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery System to provide the heating, hot water and ventilation. Compared to conventional electric boilers, this system is four times more energy efficient and residents should see reduced fuel bills.”
