The homes will be built by The Hill Group.

Suzannah Taylor, executive director of development at PA Housing said: “It was great to welcome our partners to site at Park Avenue and celebrate work getting underway. For us an organisation, delivering much-needed homes to this vibrant community in Southall is an incredibly exciting project to be leading on and we can’t wait to see the development begin to take shape in the coming months.”

Councillor Shital Manro, the council’s cabinet member for good growth and new housing said: “It was a privilege to be on hand for the PA Housing ground-breaking event in Southall. These new homes will provide truly affordable options for the residents of Southall and Ealing. Working with our Greater London Authority and PA Housing partners, we will continue to deliver affordable and accessible housing for Southall and borough residents.”

Michael Turner, regional director at The Hill Group added: “We were delighted to join our partners from PA Housing and Ealing Council at the ground-breaking ceremony for this exciting new neighbourhood in Southall. This transformative project will deliver high-quality, much-needed sustainable homes for the local community, and we are pleased to be constructing affordable homes that will help significantly improve the lives of new and existing residents.”

Among the first to move into the new homes will be residents living in PA Housing’s nearby Milan Road development which is part of the local regeneration.
