Armed Ealing police shoot and kill “out of control” dog after it killed another dog in Greenford

Armed Ealing Police have shot and killed a dog in Greenford on Sunday (14 January 2024) morning after being called out to reports of an “out of control” dog which killed another dog.

In a posting on X (formerly known as Twitter), Ealing Police said: “We were called at 10:39hrs on 14 Jan to a report of a dog out of control having killed another dog in Queens Ave, Greenford. Officers attended and took the decision to destroy the dog at the scene in order to prevent it from causing further serious harm.”

The police added: “We know that this will have been upsetting for those present. We do ask that footage of the incident isn’t shared.”
