A clean your car charity event by fire fighters from Acton Fire Station on Sunday (26 June 2022) has raised more than £1100.
From noon to 3pm, members of the public could get their car cleaned by the fire fighters with proceeds from the event going to The Fire Fighters Charity which helps and supports those in the fire services community when they need help.
In a tweet, London Fire Brigade said: “A big thank you to all the kind generous people of #Acton yesterday.”
As well as cleaning cars yesterday, Acton Fire Station firefighters were also available to offer local residents advise and the station was also keen to hear from people in the area about any issues they would like to talk about regarding fire services.
