Dates announced for second Ealing Book Festival

Following the inaugural Ealing Book Festival which took place earlier this year (April 2024), the dates for the second festival have now been confirmed for 2025.

Taking place from 24 April 2025 to 27 April 2025, the Festival will once again celebrate literature and culture from both local as well as national authors.

More than 1,300 people attended the first ever Ealing Book Festival which took place at Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery.

Among the authors taking part were former children’s laureates Dame Jacqueline Wilson and Lauren Child; internationally renowned authors Sathnam Sanghera and John Boyne and Booker Prize-winner Eleanor Catton.

The Festival programme also included a local authors showcase; writing and poetry workshops; walking tours; poetry recitals and a young poets competition.

Catherine Jaquiss, chair, Ealing Book Festival said: “Having put Ealing on the literary map with the first Ealing Book Festival earlier this year, we have extremely high hopes for the 2025 Festival. We are anticipating an equally dynamic and diverse celebration of the written word in all its forms.”

Ms Jaquiss added: “The response to this year’s Festival exceeded our expectations and we’re looking forward to again bringing together a wide range of prominent authors, readers and cultural enthusiasts from across West London and beyond to celebrate the power of stories in bringing people together.”
