Ealing Broadway shopping centre welcomes Bandai Namco

Following the summer launch of the first ever Bandai Namco Cross Store outside of Japan in Camden proceeded by a branch at Victoria Place in central London, Bandai Namco has now come to Ealing Broadway shopping centre with a range of its popular collectable Gashapon, Ichibankuji and Sun-Star stationery.

Gashapon are miniature capsule collectables and vending machines which feature many Bandai Namco products. The name is a combination of the “clunk (gasha)” sound made when the handle is turned, and how the capsule “pops (pon)” out of the machine.

Ichibankuji offers a chance to randomly get rare toys, figurines and collectables. Shoppers, aged 16+ purchase a ticket, peel to find out the letter, check to see what they’ve got and then get the prize.

Bandai Namco says Sun-Star Stationery creates cute (kawaii) and practical stationery and everyday items, including products featuring popular Japanese characters.

Andrew Rollings, centre director at Ealing Broadway said: “It’s brilliant that Bandai Namco has chosen to open one of their first stores in the UK at the centre. We know just how much of a following their characters have and I’m sure the store’s unique experience will prove popular with our shoppers – especially in the run up to Christmas. The items make great stocking filler presents!”

Bandi Namco Amusement Europe’s store is located next to Decathlon and  open Monday-Saturday 9:30am – 7:00pm and Sunday 11:00am -5:00pm.
