Ealing Foodbank releases October list of items people can donate to help those in need

Ealing Foodbank which helps residents across Ealing with food and other household essentials has released its October list of items that is most needed to help others.

In a tweet, it said: “So far this year, 20% of the food we’ve given to clients has been purchased by the foodbank. Please do pop a few tins into any donation point, we really do appreciate it! Thank you so much for your donations; we’re so grateful.”

According to the organisation which is part of The Trussell Trust they have enough of pasta this month and would welcome donations of the following items.

RICE 
TINNED FISH & MEAT
UHT MILK (WHOLE OR SEMI-SKIMMED)
DRIED MILK & NON-DAIRY MILK
LONG LIFE FRUIT JUICE & SQUASH
INSTANT COFFEE & INSTANT DRINKING CHOCOLATE
JAM & HONEY
TINNED FRUIT & VEGETABLES
TINNED SOUP
KETCHUP & MAYONNAISE
BAKED BEANS
SAVOURY BISCUITS & CRACKERS

Anyone who can offer food, can donate it at many points across Ealing as shown below
