The Metropolitan Police have appointed a new Commander for West Area which covers policing across Ealing, Hillingdon and Hounslow.
Chief Superintendent Jill Horsfall takes over from Chief Superintendent Sean Wilson who has now moved to a new role within the Met Police.
Chief Superintendent Horsfall joined the Met in 1998 and in the past 26 years of her police career has had various roles including superintendent of emergency response and neighbourhood & partnerships.
CS Horsfall said on her appointment which started on 4 November 2024: “I am delighted to be leading policing on West Area, I will be collaborating with partners to deliver a truly excellent service for all residents of West Area.”
