Four people taken to hospital following Northolt flat fire

Four people have been taken to hospital following a fire in a flat in Northolt today (31 July 2024). 

Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters attended the incident at a block of flats on Newmarket Avenue.

The London Fire Brigade were called at 1:37pm and the fire was under control by 3:18pm.

Crews from Northolt, Ruislip, Wembley and surrounding fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

In a statement on social media, Ealing Police said: “Any people displaced by the fire can attend a refuge centre that has been set up at Northolt Park Children’s Centre, UB5 4DB.

“Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD4222/31JUL. You can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity #Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
