Ealing Broadway shopping centre has extended its free school uniform shop to help families get essential items ahead of the September start of the new school year.
With thousands of items of clothing including shirts, jumpers, trousers and dresses donated in July by residents across the borough, the uniform shop will be open every Thursday and Friday (10am – 4pm) until 1 September 2023 while stocks last
The shop is located opposite Smiggle at the shopping centre and visitors can take a maximum of four items.
Andrew Rollings, centre director at Ealing Broadway said: “We are over the moon by the sheer quantity of items donated at our Uniform Shop in July. So much so that it has inspired us to extend the event and help as many families as possible during the back-to-school season.”
Mr Rollings added: “Community and sustainability are key priorities for us at Ealing Broadway, and it’s great to see that our local community feels the same way. We also know people’s contributions go a long way to help those in need, and this will be more important than ever during the back-to-school season.”
