The Mayor of Ealing, Councillor Hitesh Tailor is hosting his second charity fundraiser on 22 September 2023 from 6.30pm to 10.00pm at Shepherds Bush Cricket Club in Bromyard Avenue, Acton.

Money raised will go towards supporting the Mayor’s two chosen charities this year: APPLE Play and EASE.
The Summer Soiree was originally planned for 1 September 2023, but delayed to avoid clashing with other events occurring over that weekend. The venue located in the East Acton ward was selected to include a range of different places across the Borough to host events.
As well as food and welcoming drinks, the event will feature music from a jazz singer as well as a traditional raffle with prizes.
The Mayor is also planning further fundraisers before his term in office ends in May 2023, and is looking for support for these events. He is also encouraging other organisations including local businesses to host their own events to help raise funds for the work his two chosen charities do.
Speaking to EALING.NEWS, Councillor Tailor said: “Whilst the Mayor’s office will organise our own fundraisers, we do encourage anyone across the borough whether a community group, local business or a school to organise their own fundraisers for the Mayor’s charities and to raise awareness of the work they do.“
