A new awards event that celebrates and recognises young people in Ealing is inviting members of the public to start nominating young Ealing residents.
Organised by Young Ealing Foundation (YEF), the Young Ealing Foundation Awards on July 21 2022 will bring the local community together to recognise and celebrate the borough’s young people and those who support them.
Nominations can be made online until June 5 2022 and there are 10 awards being split across two categories. The first one is for young people aged 11-15 and the second is for groups, organisations, projects and individuals who support children and young people.
For young people aged 11-25 the awards are: Overcoming Adversity, Green Champion, Community Champion, Young Leader, Young Volunteer.
For those supporting young people the awards are: Positive Opportunities, Online & Physical Safety, Mental Health, Volunteer of the Year, Youth professional of the Year.
On the night of the awards a special award for Young Performer of the Year will be voted on by the live audience.
YEF is inviting local young performers, from any entertainment field to apply to perform on the night and be entered into the award for Young Performer of the Year.
