Pensioner from Northolt dies following fall and cardiac arrest in street

A pensioner from Northolt has died today (27 March 2023) following a “fall from height” in which he was also suffering from cardiac arrest.

Police were called to the The Farmlands at 7.22am following reports of a man in his 70s having a heart attack in the street.

Along with paramedics they arrived but despite best efforts pronounced the man dead at the scene.

According to police, it is believed the man fell from a height and are treating his death as “unexplained” but not suspcious.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called at 7:22am on 27 March 2023 to The Farmlands, Northolt. A man was reported to be in cardiac arrest in the street. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended the scene. The man, who is believed to be in his mid-70s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His injuries appeared consistent with a fall from height.

“Officers are working to inform his next of kin. The death is being treated as unexpected and unexplained, but at this early stage, not suspicious. A forensic scene is in place.”
