Police appeal for witnesses after 73-year-old woman is fatally struck by lorry in Greenford

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with videos or dashcam footage after a fatal collision near Tesco Express Greenford in which a lorry hit a 73-year-old woman in Greenford Road on 28 October 2022. 

Officers were called to the incident around 2pm and despite efforts from the police and the London Ambulance Service, the pensioner was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family are being supported by specialist officers.

The driver of the lorry stopped at the scene and no arrest has been made..

Police from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating.
