One man was rescued from a fire at a Southall care home in Osterley Park Road that saw six fire engines and around 40 firefighters attend during the early hours of Monday (15 May 2023).
The Brigade was called at 3:41am and the incident was over by 4:51pm. Fire crews from Southall, Heston, Hayes, Ealing and Hillingdon fire stations were sent to the incident.
Part of a room on the ground floor was destroyed by fire. One man was rescued who was suffering from smoke inhalation and taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
