The Grinch is back again at Ealing Broadway

Following demand from shoppers and visitors to seeing The Grinch in person at Ealing Broadway last Saturday (10 December 2022), Dr Seuss’ much character and his sidekick Cindy Lou will be making another appearance on 22 December 2022.

The Grinch will be going all around the shopping centre causing all manner of mayhem from 11am to 2pm.

As well The Grinch to look forward to, shoppers and vistors will also be able to see Santa and his elves on 17 December and 24 December.

On the Town Square Christmas Stage, shoppers can singalong to some classic carols and Ealing Broadway is inviting local musicians, community choirs, budding bands and potential pop stars to perform on stage.

Also at the Town Square, a Christmas Market and Mulled Wine Bar is open each day until 24 December 2022 from 10am – 6:30pm, with a variety of festive-themed street food on offer including gourmet cheese hampers, fresh donuts, hand-made gifts and traditional German and British sausages.

To help those in need, Ealing Broadway has positioned a giant Giving Box, located in Town Square where visitors can make contactless donations to the centre’s charity partners, Ealing MENCAP and Ealing BeFriend.

Andrew Rollings, centre director at Ealing Broadway, said: “It is always such a wonderful time of year when we see the decorations go up and our Christmas celebrations get underway at Ealing Broadway. There is a full range of festive fun activities for everyone to enjoy.”

Mr Rollings added: “We’re really looking forward to seeing our festive characters and local choirs out in the coming weeks to help spread Christmas cheer to as many people as possible in the local community in the run up to the big day. We’ll be keeping an eye out for The Grinch, who I’m sure will be up to no good as soon as he comes to the centre.”

During the festive season, Ealing Broadway is open from 9am – 8pm Monday to Saturday and 11am – 5pm on Sunday.
