Woman has died after being rescued from house fire in South Ealing

It has been revealed that a woman has died after being rescued by the London Fire Brigade and taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews following a house fire on Carlyle Road near South Ealing.

Three fire engines with around 15 firefighters from Ealing, Acton and Chiswick fire stations tackled the blaze during the morning on 5 April 2023.

Half of the ground floor of a semi-detached two-storey house was also damaged by the fire.

The Brigade was called at 06:01am and the fire was under control at 07:09am.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

No further details have been released about the woman.
