Ealing and Hillingdon Liberal Democrats have selected Kuldev Sehra as their candidate to fight for the London Assembly seat of Ealing & Hillingdon which will be taking place in May 2024.
Mr Sehra is also a councillor in neighbouring borough Richmond.
Last week, he visited Ealing and joined with Hanger Hill Councillor Athena Zissimos and Ealing Liberal Democrats leader Councillor Gary Malcolm to listen to residents concerns about crime. Joining them also was Liberal Democrat Ealing Central and Acton parliamentary candidate Alastair Mitton.
Mr Sehra said: “In Ealing residents are pleased that the Liberal Democrats continue to take action to help make the streets safer. First, they persuaded the Council to reverse Labour’s streetlight dimming policy. Now, the LibDems want to reduce crime levels further by demanding to see more police regularly patrolling streets of Ealing.”
