Ealing Trailfinders men and women’s teams play away matches on Saturday

Both Ealing Trailfinders men and women teams aim to replicate their performance from the previous weekend by showcasing an expansive and fluid style of running rugby.

The men take on Ampthill this weekend away in Bedfordshire, whereas the women travel up to Loughborough to take on the Loughborough lightning women’s team.

The men have come out of the blocks fast in 2024 with a convincing win last weekend and will be looking to continue that form this weekend. Ampthill will be standing in their way though, they had a 32-24 win over Doncaster last weekend.

Another Ealing Trailfinders player will bring up his century this weekend with James Cordy Redden set to bring up the milestone this weekend. Another fantastic achievement for a valued member of the club.

The women had a close battle with Gloucester/Hartpury on the weekend going down 33-27 but showed real promise and improvement. A win here would build their confidence even more heading into the backend of the season.

Loughborough Lightning are one position ahead of Trailfinders Women on the standings, so both teams have a lot to play for. Whoever wins this will take bragging rights for the first half of the season.
