Little Ealing Primary School has won another sporting achievement with its sports pupils becoming the first ever South of England winners of Sportshall Athletics.
Sportshall is an indoor form of track and field for children between the ages of 4 and 16 and the Little Ealing Primary School team consisted of pupils from year 5 and 6.
Teams that had won their their own districts in Berkshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Kent, London, Northamptonshire and Surrey, then competed to see who would be crowned the number one school for South of England. South Ealing-based Little Ealing Primary School showed their strength to win.
Speaking to EALING.NEWS, head of PE Bobby Behzadi said: “It was Little Ealing that took the crown in what can only be described as an incredible year with this being their fifth competition win of the season.”
Mr Behzadi added: “This truly has been an incredible feat and wonderful achievement from the school and the sports team.”
The win at Sportshall, follows another sporting achievement last month (March 2023) which saw the South Ealing school winning gold at the London Youth Games.
