The gyms, located at Spikes Bridge, Manor House, Southall Park and Southall Recreation Ground, offer a range of modern equipment for various types of workouts and the Council says it is aimed to be accessible and inclusive for all the community to use.

The project, known as The Great Outdoor Gym (TGOG) is being offered by Ealing Council alongside partners Sport England and Let’s Go Southall.

To help residents use the equipment and get fit, a programme of activities across all four outdoor gyms and run by trainers is being offered.

The equipment makes the most of cutting-edge technology and vitally, is designed for use for the whole community.

Councillor Anand added: ““The benefits of introducing a bit more activity into your weekly routine can be huge, not only for fitness but general health, physical, and mental wellbeing – and this equipment is going to support a lot of people in Southall do just that.”
