A new golf club and course which has been dubbed “a modern links in the city” is set to open in Northolt on 1 June 2024.
The Inspiration Club in West End Lane will be open to anyone and the club owners Bridgedown Golf have also removed any dress codes for those playing.
Tony Menai-Davis, director of Bridgedown Golf said: “We wanted to ensure that we had the right designer to create our vision and the result is a golf course unlike anything London has ever seen – a modern style links.”
Mr Menai-Davis added: “To experience the shapes of the greens and run offs we have here you would normally have to travel to the coast. The Inspiration offers the drama of the absolute best courses in the U.K. in sight of the capital. We are incredibly proud of The Inspiration and cannot wait to open in June.”
The Inspiration Club is the third golf course from family-owned Bridgedown Golf and follows The Shire in Barnet which was designed by golfing legend Seve Ballesteros and The West London Golf Centre on Ruislip Road in Northolt
The Inspiration Club was designed golf course architects Mackenzie and Ebert and is a 6,610 yard course.
Tom Mackenzie from Mackenzie and Ebert commented: “This has been an exciting, enjoyable and unique project and, if we have done our job well, then the same should apply to playing the course. We hope that following a first trip round the course, golfers of all standards will want to return with their friends.”
