Parkour comes to Lammas Park

The first ever parkour centre has arrived in Ealing at Lammas Park and to celebrate its opening a special residents event will be taking place to show how to do it.

Parkour is all about getting from one point to the next point in the most efficient and fastest way possible.

On Friday (15 September 2023) from 4pm, free training sessions will be held by parkour professionals to get local people up to speed on how to take part.

To ensure the Lammas Parkour Park offers the best facility for taking part in parkour, Ealing Council says it partnered with Parkour Generations.

Councillor Polly Knewstub, cabinet member for thriving communities said: “Parkour is one of the fastest growing sports in this country and a great way to get outside, stay healthy and enjoy our green spaces. It’s also incredible to watch. We’re keen to continue encouraging greater participation in all types of sport and improving our sporting facilities.”
