Brigantia Explorers in Ealing have celebrated their achievements over the past year with 57 young people aged 14-18 taking part at a special event in Elthorne Park.
The Ealing and Hanwell Scouts have been sharing the work they do and how it has impacted many young people across Ealing.
Among the achievements of the group is Duke of Edinburgh awards, Nights Away and Hikes Away awards and Joining In awards.
With more than 200 different types of activities on offer to young people, the Scouts say there is something for everyone.
In a statement, Ealing and Hanwell Scouts said: “From fun-filled thrills and wild adventure, to creative activities and historic learning, there’s something to suit everyone. Explorers are a go-getting group of young people aged 14 to 18, who are all about discovering the world on their own terms and making the most of what they have, wherever and whoever they are.”
Chief Scout Bear Grylls said: “Now more than ever, our young people need the confidence and encouragement that Scouting gives. Young people are amazing. They just need the opportunities and a friendly, safe and supportive place to discover their talents. That’s where we come in.”
