Busy Bees Perivale centre director celebrates 30 years

The centre director of Busy Bees on Bideford Avenue in Perivale is celebrating 30 years of working with local people in the area.

Denise Arbouine, who joined Busy Bees Perivale, 30 years ago as an educator and worked her way up to her senior role as centre director has managed the nursery for more than a decade.

Ms Arbouine is also the designated safeguarding lead at the location and also has a Level 3 qualification in early years.

At this year’s Busy Bees annual awards ceremony in Birmingham, Ms Arbouine along with other long serving colleagues of the nationwide nursery chain were recognised for their work.

Laura Hathaway, area director of Busy Bees said: “Denise takes such pride in her role working with the countless children that have journeyed through the nursery and progressed onto the next stage in life. She has poured her heart into her career, not only supporting children but her colleagues within the local area too, sharing best practice and wisdom.”

Ms Hathaway added: “It is our privilege to celebrate Denise’s special milestone and we are so proud of everything she has achieved to date.”

Ms Arbouine commented: “To this day, I still love what I do, I find working with children extremely rewarding. It’s such a privilege to provide their care and support their learning and development during such a crucial time in their early years. Working in childcare is not just a job, it is a vocation and our actions make a difference to each individual child’s life.”

Ms Arbouine added: “When I look back on the last 30 years, I hope that I have provided an enriching environment to all the children I have cared for and supported in giving them the very best start in life.”
