The first new cinema in Ealing Broadway since The Empire closed down in 2008 will start showing films from 30 June. Ealing Project has announced that Elvis and Minions will be its first two launch films being shown.
The new venue, located in Ealing Broadway shopping centre, is home to three cinema screens and also features a bar, a cafe, community room, live performance stage and space to exhibit art was developed by Really Local Group who are behind the arts centre as well as other cinema projects around the UK.
Ticket prices for all screenings until the end of July will be priced at £6 before reverting to their usual prices of between £6 and £12 for an adult and £6 and £7.50 for a child depending on time and day of the week.
“For our first month, our prices are frozen to what they were when the last cinema closed in Ealing. All tickets £6 through to the end of July,” Ealing Project said.
For those who want to become a member of Ealing Project, the venue is offering a special 30% discount on membership fees. Adult Members will pay £31.50 for a year instead of £45 and get discounts on food and drink as well as 5 cinema tickets and 20% off all other tickets.
