Free workspace in Ealing for anyone with a bike during UK Bike Week

To celebrate and mark UK Bike Week which runs from 5 June to 11 June 2023, co-working and shared office provider IWG is providing free access for cyclists to its workspaces across the country which include locations in Ealing.

IWG operates a number of brands including Regus, Spaces, No18, Basepoint and Open Office

In Ealing Broadway it operates office space at 71-75 Uxbridge Road, W5 5SL and also offers First Central 200 at 2 Lakeside Drive,NW10 7FQ.

To get access to the free space, workers need to find a location through the IWG or Regus app and when they arrive to show a photo of their bike parked with the same day timestamp or a receipt from a bike-sharing company.

According to IWG, workers are looking for easier commutes and in a recent poll by IWG it found that 60% of UK workers would like to work within 15 minutes of home.

Mark Dixon, CEO and Founder of IWG said: “Sustainability is top of mind for many companies around the world — and their employees are looking for ways to reduce their carbon footprint.

“During UK Bike Week, we are promoting sustainable transportation and access to office spaces that are closer to home – both of which are growing trends and interests of our customers. The shift to the hybrid work model is bolstered by the rising popularity of the concept of the 15-minute city across the UK and around the world, where people live and work within 15 minutes of their home.”
