The Forester pub completes transformation and reopens on Saturday

Following a refurbishment, West Ealing’s The Forester pub off Northfield Avenue reopens on Saturday (9 March 2024).

The Fuller’s owned pub, managed by Harry Shotter who joined last year, has been transformed with a reminder to its past.  It has kept many original features including its famous Nowell Parr designed fireplace as well as showcasing a number of vintage furniture and other items that are now on display.

The first floor of the pub retains its private function room which has also been improved while the garden has been updated and offers a covered area. Outside the pub features new seating as well for pub-goers.

Pub grub offered will be Thai Food cooked by Chef Nok and Sundays will see a carvery choice being available.

Mr Shotter said: “I’m so excited to be reopening the doors of The Forester. The pub has been at the heart of its community for a long time now and I’m honoured to continue its legacy. The investment that Fuller’s has made into the pub is future-proofing its history – ensuring it continues to serve as a community hub.”

He added: “As well as our popular Thai menu, and a carvery on Sundays, the bar will be well-stocked with popular wines, beers and spirits. Once again, we’ll be a destination for cask ale lovers in Ealing, pouring fresh pints of Fuller’s favourites and guest ales. My team and I look forward to welcoming you all.”
