Ealing Council has launched a new arts and culture website for its borough wide events and initiatives as well as allowing locals and organisations to promote their own creativity and activities across the borough.
In a statement, Councillor Polly Knewstub, the council’s cabinet member for thriving communities said: “This new website is just the start of our ambitions for more people to get involved in the arts. Whether that’s by taking part, exploring opportunities for volunteering, finding a career in the creative sector, or simply through enjoying fantastic events and experiences.”
Councillor Knewstub added: “Over the coming months we hope to grow the site into an even better resource to support our cultural organisations and share what’s happening with as many residents as possible.
“We’ve been working with our cultural partners to make this happen, coming together so that we can celebrate the borough’s creative spirit and energy. But we still need your help. If you have an idea, or an event to share large or small, then get involved by visiting the website and help us let others know about it too.”
