New financial advice service offered for anyone affected by cancer in Ealing

A new financial advice service provided by Macmillan and aimed at anyone affected by cancer has opened to help residents across Ealing as well as in Brent and Harrow.

The Macmillan Benefits Advice service is based at Northfields Community Library in Northfields and Northwick Park Hospital in Harrow. The new service aims to help cancer patients and their families apply for benefits and grants as well as give advice on what support is available with bills.

Advisors can also help cancer patients apply for one-off Macmillan means-tested grant that can help pay with anything from home adaptations to bills as well as travel costs to and from hospital appointments.

To find our more call the Ealing, Brent & Harrow Macmillan Advice Service for free on 0203 011 0339 or email: macmillan@citizensadviceharrow.org.uk

The helpline is open Monday to Friday, 9.30am – 4.30pm (excluding public holidays). Macmillan says appointments need to be booked in advance.
