Police appeal for witnesses after 15-year-old boy stabbed at Ealing Broadway station during rush hour

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed yesterday evening (29 August 2023) during rush hour at Ealing Broadway station.

Police were called to the station at around 5pm where they discovered the stabbed boy who was taken to hospital. Met Police have since said his injuries are described as “non-life threatening”.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “On Tuesday 29 August at around 17:00hrs, officers were called to reports of a 15 year-old boy with a knife injury in Ealing. Officers attended the scene, alongside the London Ambulance Service (LAS) and the boy was taken to a nearby hospital, where his injuries are confirmed as non-life threatening.”

For about two hours while police were at Ealing Broadway no Central Line or District Line trains were stopping at the station while National Rail and Elizabeth Line trains were also not terminating at the station.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101 and quote CAD reference number 5896/29August.
