Santa Claus came to Northolt town to help raise funds for Ealing’s Meadow House Hospice

A couple from Northolt who turned their home into a winter wonderland with Santa Claus joining them in the run up to Christmas have raised £240 for Ealing’s Meadow House Hospice.

Following their October 2023 successful haunted house and walk through in Northolt to also raise funds for Meadow House Hospice, organisers Jason and Lisa Cole lit up their home in Kempton Avenue for Christmas and arranged for Santa Claus to join them on 22 December 2023 and 23 December 2023.

The money raised for Meadow House Hospice was in honour of Mr Cole’s mother who passed away last year after fighting cancer for six years.

EALING.NEWS spoke to Lisa to find out more about the Christmas celebration

How did the two days go and how many people met Santa?
The 2 days went really well.. although very cold… but Santa is used to the weather in Lapland!
We saw about 30 children, who all received some sweets from Santa and they could also choose a toy. Then we also has candyfloss on sale.

What were you most proud of this Christmas compared to previous ones?
This is the first year we have welcomed bookings to see Santa.

How long did you leave it all up after Christmas?
We started taking it all down from 5th January and will take around 2 weeks to take down completely.

What is next for you?
Hoping to do a summer concert… following then on to Halloween, which we are already planning.
