Santa Claus is coming to Northolt town on Friday and Saturday

Following their successful haunted house and walk through in Northolt to raise funds for Ealing’s Meadow House Hospice, organisers Jason and Lisa Cole have lit up their home in Kempton Avenue, UB5 4HF for Christmas and have arranged for Santa Claus to make an appearance on 22 December 2023 and 23 December 2023.

This year’s Christmas event will also be raising finds for Meadow House Hospice in honour of Mr Cole’s mother who passed away earlier this year after fighting cancer for six years.  For £5, parents and carers can book their child a slot to meet Santa between 4.30pm and 7.00pm on either  22 or 23 December 2023. To book a time slot to meet Santa, email: northoltsanta@gmail.com   All proceeds will go to Meadow House Hospice.

EALING.NEWS spoke to Lisa to find out more about the Christmas celebration

You are famous for your Halloween decorations, how many times have you done Santa and Christmas lights?
We’ve decorated our house for Christmas for the past 5 years. It began just by doing it for our children, then we noticed more and more passers by, stopping and taking photos.

How popular was it?
Everyone loves the lights, they stop by, taking photos and selfies in front of our house!

How long does it take to put it all up and when will it all be taken
down? My husband started putting up the lights in November, straight after the Halloween decorations were taken down. The Haunted House, has been converted into a magical display of elves workshop, which is done with special effects.

You are supporting Meadow House Hospice again. How much did you raise for Halloween?
We are again supporting Meadow House Hospice. We raised £450 for them for Halloween, which they were delighted to receive. They supported and took care of Jason’s mum, in her last days of life.

What is the next seasonal event you are planning?
We are hoping to do a concert at some point in the summer With children’s disco and stalls. This year we have converted the Halloween hut into a Santas grotto, where children can come and visit Santa on 22nd and 23rd December between 4:30-7.00pm.
