McDonald’s Iron Bridge branch franchisee sponsors West London’s The Woman’s Football League

The McDonald’s franchisee of its Iron Bridge branch, Anisha Sharma has become the sponsor of West London’s The Woman’s Football League.

The Women’s Football League (The WFL) aims to create and develop the infrastructure for women’s grassroots football across West London by offering professionally organised football opportunities for female football teams.

Ms Sharma who owns and operates the Uxbridge Road branch between Hanwell and Southall said: “The Women’s Football League is a fantastic organisation that encourages women to keep fit, thrive in sports and have fun.”

Ms Sharma added: “It’s a privilege to support and sponsor them and West London’s first seven-a-side football league, which I’m very excited about. It is great to see local women enjoying playing their fixtures in an environment they feel comfortable and celebrated in.”
