So Resi development gets Ealing Councillors’ visit

Housing provider SO Resi, part of housing association Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing (MTVH), has marked the launch of its first London Living Rent development with a visit from the Mayor of Ealing, Councillor Hitesh Tailor along with other local councillors.

The SO Flexi Acton apartments are located on the site of the former Goldsmiths Arms pub in East Acton which was closed in 2017 and eventually demolished to make way for the new housing.

Kevin Sims, director of sales and marketing at SO Resi said: “It was a privilege to welcome the Mayor of Ealing and local councillors to SO Flexi Acton, many of whom have supported the development from the very early planning stages. We are united by a shared goal to create much needed housing within Acton, addressing the wider borough’s housing targets, and helping local residents not just find somewhere to live, but eventually somewhere to call their own.

According to SO Resi, the development allows residents to rent an an apartment at a discounted rate for a fixed period, with a view to purchase the property at the end of the tenancy using shared ownership.

Rents start from £1,107 a month for a one-bedroom apartment.
