Chiswick-based W4 Youth have been out and about letting local residents know of their plans to build a youth and community centre on Southfield Recreation Ground.
A group of young people from W4 Youth’s dance troupe on Sunday (16 April 2023) entertained visitors and people passing by the Chiswick Cheese Market.
The market, which takes place on the third Sunday of every month, proved to be a great location for W4 Youth in getting their message out as well as winning fans to the dance troupe’s dancing.
Sally Chacatte, W4 Youth founder and chair said: “It was so great to be showcasing our W4 youth talent at the Chiswick Cheese Market today. Our dance troupe performed 4 times throughout the day, and we spoke to so many great people from across the community, some who have volunteered to work with us and others making generous donations to our charity. Thank you to the Chiswick Cheese Market for inviting us.”
